Director of Parks, Recreation and Senior Services: East Hartford, CT. 1/1996 to 11/19/11.  Responsibilities include: Overall operation of department which includes: Administrative Division, Park Maintenance Division Senior Services and previously Golf Course Division.  Work closely with volunteer groups, local YMCA on Robert Woods Foundation Grant on Childhood Obesity. Responsible for managing $3.3 million budget.  Over saw numerous Capital Projects including; updating of outdoor facilities and fields, installation of skate-park, relocation of administrative offices, renovation of two outdoor pools and re-design and construction of soccer fields in existing park.  Supervised full-time staff of twenty-five.

Director of Park and Recreation: Redding, CT. 6/1993 to 12/1995.  Responsibilities included: Overall operation of department through planning, organizing, scheduling and promoting recreational programs, budget preparation and justification, over saw Capital Expense Projects, hiring and supervising part-time and seasonal workers throughout the year.  Instituted policies and procedures material.
