​I am a licensed insurance agent and specialize in Comprehensive Medicare Planning. I am certified with the State of Connecticut for Long Term Partnership Plans. I am also licensed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia, New York, Florida, West Virginia, Texas and South Carolina. I will review your coverage to assure you are on the best plan for YOU. I also can assist with final expense and retirement planning.
I spent 30 years in Municipal Government where I was an effective manager with increasingly responsible experience in the areas of municipal recreation and parks and human resource services. Significant skills encompass departmental operations, community relations, strategic planning, strong verbal communications, fiscal responsibility for operating and capital improvement budgets, project and people management, policy development and implementation, training and employee organizational development, and risk management.
In addition to my experiences, education and professional involvement, I:
• Bring a diversified background working with agencies of various sizes and management structures.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
• Prepare and present written and oral reports to various audiences (Clients, City Council, Commissions and professional organizations).
• Bring experience as a department head and member of an Executive Management Team, establishing departmental goals, objectives, policy development, park development and service needs.

Short Bio:
In August 2018, I joined Bankers Life as a licensed insurance agent. I am a Medicare Comprehensive Planning Specialist and help people with their retirement planning, final expense plans and avoiding the pitfalls of Medicare.

In 2016 I moved to Morgantown, WV as the Associate Director of Parks and Facilities for the Board of Parks and Recreation for Morgantown. I over saw the facilities as well as the ice rink where I learned to drive Ice Resurfacing equipment. I also helped other specialists with their display setups and breakdowns, in addition to updating daily records through a digital system and using the data to track performance.
I previously served as the director of parks, recreation, and senior services in East Hartford, Connecticut, where I oversaw a $3.3 million budget, collaborated with community groups such as the YMCA, and supervised full-time and seasonal staff members. During my tenure with the city, I presented at multiple professional gatherings, including the National Recreations and Parks Association (NRPA) National Congress and, the New England Training Institute.
Away from my sales responsibilities, I enjoy cooking, clerking wrestling tournaments, listening to bluegrass music, and performing as a magician. I stayed active in my community as the head coach of the Berlin Minutemen Youth Wrestling Program, which included boys and girls ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade for over 20 years.
In 2021, became a grandfather for the first time to Cole Moss and in 2022 I became a 2 time grandfather with the birth of Salem Moss.
